The National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NRHP) was formed in 1985 to promote the skilled use of hypno-psychotherapy by properly trained and regulated practitioners and to help anyone who is seeking treatment to find a professional, locally based hypno-psychotherapist.
It is administered by a Board of Directors who are elected from the Membership by the Membership for a set term of office. Board meetings take place regularly and each year an Annual General Meeting is held when members of NRHP meet with the Board to receive reports on the activities of the Register and discuss future progress.
